Recording projects

Donn Tarris solo projects: I play most instruments listed above, as well as sing harmonies. I offer a unique service in that you can email your mp3 bed tracks and I can add instruments and voice using the best of analogue tube and digital audio gear.

Alan Moberg: I have played acoustic lap steel on Alan's latest CDs.

Jane Eamon: Acoustic lap steel on a few cuts from her last CD. I am slated to play on her upcoming one as well.

Tess Fama: currently preparing songs for CD. We have a uploaded "Haven't a Clue", one of Tess' original compositions, to our Myspace page. I played electric lap steel on this tune.

Tusket: "Glory Bound" CD. I played acoustic lap steel on a few cuts on their album.

Live projects

Tarris & Fama: Tess and I perform together at various venues around Salt Spring. This summer we hope to branch out to Vancouver Island and Vancouver mainland as a duo and trio (with drummer/percussionist).

Synergy: Gord Ross and Trish Faurot's band. I play lap steel, bass, and hopefully will get a chance to play drums/percussion this year.

Tusket: I occasionally join Tusket for concert gigs playing lap steel (through one of Simon Jarrett's Kingsley amps when lucky!:-)

I have had the pleasure of accompanying most musicians on Salt Spring Island over the past 8 years, including Tess Fama, Alan Moberg, Valdy, Bill Henderson, Sharon Bailey, Jim Simis and others.
